Who you are actually booking
I'm Marco
I play as Sally's Candy Shop — solo, or as a duo when the room wants more. I live on the Brisbane Bayside and I play across Brisbane and down to the Gold Coast.
I bring my own PA and lights, I turn up early, and I read the room rather than playing at it. If the crowd wants singalongs they get singalongs. If it is a dinner, I keep it under the conversation.
Questions venues ask
Straight answers
Solo or duo?
Both. Solo suits most front bars and smaller rooms. Duo is for when you want the sound to carry across a bigger space or a busier night.
What do you need from the venue?
A corner, two power points and somewhere to park near the door for load-in. I bring the rest.
How long do you play?
Three sets across the night, 3 or 4 hours all up, with short breaks. Happy to shape it around whatever your night actually needs.

Acoustic covers with a bit of grit — the crowd-pleasers, plus songs people do not expect to hear done this way. Chappell Roan next to Powderfinger. The Spotify list on this page is a fair sample.
Do you take requests?
Yes, and I would rather have them. A request is a person deciding to stay for another drink.
