Solo
One voice, one guitar, my own PA.
The most flexible option and the one most nights want. I cover the whole evening on my own — quiet through dinner, loud when it counts.

Who you are actually booking
I'm Marco
I play as Sally's Candy Shop — solo, or as a duo when the room wants more. I live on the Brisbane Bayside and I play across Brisbane and down to the Gold Coast.
I bring my own PA and lights, I turn up early, and I read the room rather than playing at it. If the crowd wants singalongs they get singalongs. If it is a dinner, I keep it under the conversation.

The questions everyone asks
How much does it cost?
It depends on how long you need me, whether it is solo or duo, and how far I am travelling. Tell me the date, the place and roughly how long, and I will come back with a straight number — no packages to decode.
Do you bring your own PA and lighting?
Yes. Everything needed for sound and a bit of atmosphere, and I set it all up before guests arrive. For weddings I can also lend you the PA for speeches.
Can we choose the songs?
Absolutely. Most people send me a handful of must-plays and a couple of do-nots, and I build the rest around the room. If there is a first dance you want learned, ask me early and I will learn it.
How long do you play?
Usually three sets, 3 or 4 hours all up, with short breaks. For weddings it is more often split across the ceremony, the drinks hour and the reception. Both are fine.
Do you play the Gold Coast?
Yes. Brisbane, the Brisbane Bayside and the Gold Coast. Gold Coast dates just need a bit more notice so the travel does not eat into the night.
What happens if it rains?
The gear needs to stay dry, so outdoor bookings need a covered option — a marquee, a veranda, anything with a roof. Worth sorting when you book rather than on the day.
